The Initial Hurdles: Where to Begin?

When I first considered converting my classic Mustang to electric, the biggest challenge was knowing where to start. The sheer number of components needed - from battery packs and electric motors to controllers and charging systems - felt overwhelming. Unlike modern EVs designed from the ground up, classic cars require extensive modifications to accommodate electric powertrains.

Technical Challenges: More Than Just Swapping Parts

Battery placement became a critical consideration - too much weight in the wrong places could ruin the car's handling characteristics.
