My Experience Converting a Classic Car to Electric: Challenges and Breakthroughs

You can keep a classic car on the road and still drive electric. I know because I finished a full EV conversion on my 1967 Mustang. The build demanded more planning and fabrication than any repair I have tackled, and it delivered instant torque, silent running, and zero tailpipe emissions.

This is a field report, not a sales pitch. I will walk you through the hurdles that nearly stalled the build and the decisions you will face if you start a conversion of your own.

The Initial Hurdles: Where to Begin?
