Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries are experiencing explosive growth. According to McKinsey projections, LFP's global market share could reach 44% by 2026, up from just 11% in 2020. These batteries offer superior safety, longer lifespan, and reduced costs compared to traditional NMC chemistries.

Solid-State Batteries represent the next frontier in EV technology. Toyota plans to launch next-generation BEVs in 2026 featuring advanced solid-state designs offering faster charging and ranges up to 1000 km. These batteries pack more power in the same size while improving safety and efficiency.

Sodium-Ion Batteries are emerging as a game-changing alternative. By 2026, sodium-ion cells are expected to reach 220 watt-hour per kilogram, nearly matching LFP performance but at significantly lower costs. These batteries excel in cold weather conditions, retaining over 90% capacity at -40°C.
