What This Rear Seat Cushion Set Actually Gives You

The Black Golf Cart Rear Seat Cushion Set is a direct-fit upgrade for the rear seats of EZGO TxT, ST, ST Sport, and Valor models. It arrives as a complete set — every cushion piece needed for full coverage of the rear seating area comes in one order, not sold piecemeal.

Rear seat cushions take the worst of what a golf cart endures: sun, rain, and a steady stream of passengers. When the vinyl cracks and the foam goes flat, this set swaps the damage out for classic black cushions built to the EZGO rear seat dimensions. No trimming, no adapting, no custom work.

The short version

Fitment covers TxT (all years), ST, ST Sport, Valor, and Medalist (1994-2013). Installation runs under 30 minutes with basic hand tools. The vinyl is UV-resistant and water-repellent, and the set holds up for 2+ years with proper care against 6-12 months typical for basic replacements.

Compatibility: Will It Fit Your Cart?

Check your model against this list first. It decides everything else:

• EZGO TxT models (all years)
• EZGO ST models
• EZGO ST Sport models
• EZGO Valor models
• EZGO Medalist models (1994-2013)

If your cart is on the list, the cushions are engineered for those rear seat dimensions and mount as direct replacements for the originals. The design also works with most golf cart rear flip seats, so it pairs with the flip seat you already run instead of forcing you to replace it.

Three-Layer Construction, Layer by Layer

Each cushion is built in three layers, and each layer has one job:

• Top layer: high-quality black vinyl that resists fading and cracking.
• Middle layer: comfort foam padding for support underneath passengers.
• Base layer: durable backing material for long-lasting performance.

The top layer does most of the fighting. UV-resistant, water-repellent vinyl stands up to the two fastest threats to outdoor upholstery — sun exposure and moisture — and that is why the black color stays black instead of washing out after a season outside.

The comfort foam in the middle is what separates this set from thin single-piece pads. Passengers notice the support on longer rides, and the base layer ties everything together with durable backing built for the long haul.

Technical Specifications

Installation: Under 30 Minutes, Hand Tools Only

This is a driveway job, not a shop job. Most installations finish in under 30 minutes with basic hand tools. The cushions are designed as direct replacements for your existing set, so you remove the worn ones and mount the new ones in their place.

• Perfect fit: specifically engineered for EZGO rear seat dimensions.
• Universal design: works with most golf cart rear flip seats.
• No modifications: direct replacement for the original cushions.
• Complete coverage: includes all necessary cushion pieces for full rear seat coverage.

How It Compares to Standard Cushions

If your current rear seat is factory original or a budget replacement, this is where the difference shows up:

Focus on the durability row. Standard cushions typically quit inside 6-12 months; this set goes 2+ years with proper care. Fewer repeat purchases over the life of the cart is where the real saving lands.

Care and Cleaning

Cleaning takes minutes. Wipe the vinyl with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry. Skip harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners — both can damage the vinyl surface and dull the finish.

The cushions are built for outdoor use, but for maximum longevity, keep the cart under cover when it is not in use. Covered storage is the cheapest way to stretch the life of any vinyl seat.

The Bottom Line

The Black Golf Cart Rear Seat Cushion Set fixes the most visible worn part of an EZGO cart in one order: exact fitment for TxT, ST, ST Sport, and Valor, a three-layer build, weather-resistant vinyl, and a 30-minute install. Whether you are replacing cracked cushions or finishing a new rear flip seat, it is a straightforward upgrade with an immediate payoff for anyone who rides in the back.
