Direct-Fit OES-Spec Strut

The Front Right Complete Strut Assembly for 2012-2015 Toyota Prius C (Koeep) is a loaded MacPherson strut engineered for hybrid-platform duty. It replaces the original component without needing to transfer springs or hardware. The assembly ships with a 9254 chrome-silicon coil spring, high-temperature nitrogen-charged shock, OE-style upper mount and bearing, dust boot, and bump stop.

DTC & Diagnostic Notes

Relevant DTCs include C1201 (ABS/VSC control unit), C1231 (steering angle sensor), and C1256 (ABS pump motor). The assembly itself does not generate electrical DTCs. If VSC/ABS warning lamps stay on after installation, reset the yaw-rate/steering-angle sensor with a bidirectional scan tool and verify front wheel alignment.

Installation Tip

Use a spring compressor carefully, or torque all fasteners with the suspension at curb height. Replace the top mounting plate if axial play exceeds 2 mm. Always perform a wheel alignment after replacing a complete strut assembly.
