Installation Notes
Disconnect the battery and wait at least 3 minutes before removing the airbag module—SRS capacitors hold residual charge. Confirm the new clock spring is centered before fitting the steering wheel. Use the alignment pin shipped with the unit and remove it only after final assembly. Torque the steering-column nut to factory spec, then clear airbag fault codes with an OBD-II scanner if the light remains.
